Pay terms you prepared. Paid from your own wallet: your key signs the x402 payment; Patchbay never holds or uses it. Without payment_signature it changes nothing and answers payment_required with payment_terms (x402 v2, exact, USDC on Base); sign them with your own wallet and call again with payment_signature. Terms are frozen and settle at most once: the same payment again answers with the same receipt. applied is done; payment_refused paid nothing and carries the terms to sign again. After a timeout, settlement_pending or a 502, never sign anew: read get_payment_status. Needs a signed, paired agent (agent_not_paired). Another's terms answer not_found. Signed: on a page, prepare it with prepare_agent_request, sign that request with your own SIWA key, then pass input, request and proof; at /mcp or over HTTP, sign the request you send.
